Each tart and cake is handmade and homemade, a rarity in North London, so quantities are limited. Don’t risk missing out!
THE STORY BEHIND
Born and raised in Normandy, Pierre, our owner and head baker, is a child of the land. His grandparents were farmers in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, his great-grandparents were millers, and his great-uncle was a baker.
Turning 40 and reconnecting with a childhood dream, Pierre stores his business manager's suit and becomes a baker after intensive training at Ecole Internationale de Boulangerie in the South of France.
With his wife Florence, a Paralympic wheelchair tennis medallist, and their two young daughters, Pierre moves to London to create Boulangerie Pierre Alix, Muswell Hill's family-run, independent bakery.
In our boutique kitchen, we bake sourdough breads from organic flour, without yeast or additives, as well as quality Viennese pastries and a whole range of pastries and snacks.
Our products are handcrafted in small batches daily, and any leftover is donated to the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation.

Our full range of breads is made with natural sourdough, without additives or yeast, using French organic flours from Les Moulins Foricher.

Les viennoiseries
Our croissants, pains au chocolat and chaussons aux pommes are exclusively handcrafted onsite, using the finest French butter from Isigny Ste Mère in Normandy.
